# HID-ScaleWedge not appearing but visible in the taskbar/system tray

> Fix an HID-ScaleWedge window that won't open from the taskbar or system tray by closing the program and resetting its settings.

Try the following steps if the HID-ScaleWedge window does not appear on click despite being visible in the Windows Taskbar or System Tray:

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then select “Task Manager” from the menu. Then, use the Task Manager to end the HID-ScaleWedge process.
2. Open File Explorer, navigate to `C:\ProgramData\HIDWedge`, and delete the file named `HIDScaleWedge.ini`. This will delete all settings for the HID-ScaleWedge program, including the screen coordinates for the program’s main window.
3. Restart HID-ScaleWedge. The program’s window should appear as normal.
